We are a family of 7 with boys, ages 10-20. The diving was excellent & easily managed. On arrival we were greeted by Zach & Lucia who arranged for us to rent dive gear & schedule an orientation dive. Because all 5 boys had been certified only the week prior to our arrival, we were relieved that both Zach and Lucia took extra care to make us feel comfortable while attending to the safety and enjoyment of the boys. We felt very confident with the equipment and with the safety measures the Carib Inn took. We were especially impressed with Zach's night dive.

He was super attentive to our 10 year old & guided us through a wonderful underwater world.Carib Inn also offers very convenient boat dive trips that can be arranged the day before, or the same day. The guide basically asks where ya' wanna' go & takes off! The boat dives are small groups. The shore diving from the Inn's dock is excellent with little current & plenty to see. The location of the Inn is terrific - walking distance from the downtown area and 5 minutes from the airport and groceries.

TURTLE RESCUEThis afternoon two fishermen found an adult male green turtle tangled in an abandoned fishing net ('ghost net') off the east coast. Luckily, the f. Ishermen were able to quickly take it to Sorobon where STCB staff was able to cut it free from the net with the help of local fishermen,. After examining the turtle, measuring and tagging it, the turtle was released into the sea again. The turtle had been stuck in the net for a while; it had suffered an injury to its left rear flipper from where the net cut into its limb, but luckily the wound wasn't very deep. A very very very big thank you to the fishermen for rescuing this turtle! We're grateful for your support!!
