Lrp Quantum Pro Reverse Manual Shift
Ok so I need some of everyone's expert advise here. I have seen a lot and searched alot and looked at info on the new Novak XRS. Last weekend I went to my local hobby store and looked at the XRS and the LRP unit. The sales guy ended up talking me into the $100 LRP esc. Now I know the LRP unit has reverse disable, no motor limit, and a built in heatsink.

Never allow the speed-control or other electronic components to come in contact with water. Do not operate the speed-control in. LRP Quantum Reverse 2 Pro ESC Manual.
The XRS only handles down to 15 turn motors and I am not sure if it has reverse disable. The other thing is the XRS is only $50.So my question is do I need the $100 LRP unit or is the Novak XRS enough esc for me?? I have a 16T speed gems engine and plan not to ever go below 15T for a motor.
I do plan on someday maybe doing a little racing so reverse disable would be nice to have. I am just wondering if the LRP unit is just to much for me and I would be just fine with the XRS. There is a $75 LRP unit also, but I can't remember what it is called, maybe I should go with that one. What does everyone think?????

Tons of people have the old F1 line and love them (including myself.or I did), but since the new ones just came out, they've not had a chance to really 'settle in', for lack of a better term.I've heard that the newer generation FET's like those that are used in the XRS may and may not be as reliable as the standard ones.I'd go LRP, hands down. IMO, when given a choice of over- or underkill, I'll take over.
